This series of three online training courses teaches addiction counselors how to implement group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Depression with people who are in treatment for Substance Use Disorder.
The curriculum is the Building Recovery by Improving Goals, Habits, and Thoughts (BRIGHT) program, developed and evaluated by Dr. Kimberley Hepner and Dr. Stephanie Woo at the RAND Corporation. The online courses were developed by the Department of Veterans Affairs, in collaboration with RAND and Dr. Ricardo Muñoz at Palo Alto University.
