We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.
Before participating in any study of this site, you will be asked to provide informed consent as approved by Palo Alto University’s Institutional Review Board.
The possible risks of participating in our studies are minimal. As with any electronic communication there is a small risk of loss of confidentiality. To reduce this risk, we use an online survey system called Qualtrics, which uses HTTPS encryption for all transmitted data. All the data you provide, including your name and e-mail address, will be kept as confidential as possible and will not be shared with anyone outside of our research team. Our research reports or publications will use only group data and will not identify any individuals. You will not be charged for taking part in our studies and will not be paid for your participation.
